NDF Projects

The Nnabagereka development foundation undertakes Four  programe areas Namely.
  1. Education
  2. Health
  3. Community Empoerment
  4. Institutional Developments
  • NDF supported the expansion of sanitary facilities and a playground at Sanyu babies Home, at a cost of US$ 20,000. The New facilities were opened  by HRH in October 2006.(Include pictures of the opening ceremony) 
  • NDF in partnership with Rotary club of Kololo secured a 83,263,500/= grant from Rotary international to support pupils at Kampala school for the Physically handicapped in Kampala District ,Salaama school for the blind and St. Posiano Nondwe primary school both  in Mukono District.
  • NDF Constructed a US$ 30,000 50-bed dormitory for the physically handicapped children – at Kampala school for the Physically handicapped.   The dormitory was handed over in January 2006. 
  • A marked increase in immunization through out the central region of Uganda mainly due to the involvement of the Nnabagereka.
  • The Nnabagereka’s regular visits to various communities on issues of the girl child education, HIV/AIDS and child welfare have raised awareness levels.
  • 50 girls from 10 Districts in Uganda are currently being supported under the NDF Bursary Scheme for the disadvantaged girls.
  • Several women groups have answered the Nnabagereka’s call to set up model plantations in an effort to boost food security.
  • NDF is working together with Makindye Hill Parents School to boost the nutrition of children with mental retardation in a special care unit.
  • NDF secured a grant from centenary Rural Development Bank Towards Boosting the Nutrition of Blind Children at Salaama School for the Blind.
  • NDF secured a donation from PSI Uganda to facilitate the Ekisaakate Radio Program whose main was to create awareness to the youth bout the dangers of cross generation sex.
  • NDF managed to secure a bursary at Greenhill Academy for one disadvantaged girl
  • As an end of year event, NDF organised a fundraising party from which one million was raised towards the support of the disabled children at katalemwa Cheshire home for the disabled.
